AdStellar is available as a connector for Claude. Once connected, Claude can read your synced Meta campaign performance, write ad copy grounded in your brand kit, pause or scale live ads, build and launch campaigns with the AI Campaign Builder, and create optimization rules with an approval queue. Every action that changes a live ad or spends money is previewed first and only runs after you confirm.

Before you connect

  • An AdStellar account on an active plan or trial. Start a trial if you do not have one.
  • A Meta ad account connected in Integrations and at least one synced campaign, so there is performance data to read.
  • To grant write access (pausing ads, changing budgets, launching campaigns), you must be an owner or admin of the team. Members can grant read-only access.

Connect from the Connectors directory

  1. In Claude, open Customize > Connectors and search for AdStellar.
  2. Choose Connect. Claude opens the AdStellar consent screen in a new window.
  3. Sign in to AdStellar if asked, then pick the team, the workspaces, and the permissions you want Claude to have.
  4. Choose Allow. Claude returns to the conversation with AdStellar connected.
Tokens refresh automatically. You can revoke access at any time from Settings > Developers in AdStellar or by removing the connector in Claude.

Connect as a custom connector

If your organization installs connectors by URL, use:
In Claude: Customize > Connectors > Add custom connector, paste the URL, and follow the same consent flow. No client ID or secret is needed. AdStellar supports Dynamic Client Registration and Client ID Metadata Documents, so Claude registers itself.

Run /mcp inside Claude Code to complete sign-in and check the connection status.

What the connector can do

Write tools are two-step: the first call returns a preview and a confirmation token, and nothing changes until Claude calls again with that token after you confirm. Launches publish paused by default so you can review them in Meta Ads Manager first.

Not included in the Claude connector

AI image and video generation are not part of the Claude connector, in line with the Connectors directory policy on AI media generation. Generate creatives in the AdStellar app (Creative Hub) or through the full MCP server at https://app.adstellar.ai/api/mcp, then reference the resulting assets from Claude with search_assets when you build a campaign.

Permissions

The consent screen lists every permission Claude asks for. The connector never sees your Meta access token; AdStellar acts on your ad account with the Meta authorization you already granted in the app. Write permissions are only offered to team owners and admins. Troubleshooting

  • “Meta integration is disconnected”: reconnect your Meta account in Integrations. Read tools keep working on synced data; write tools need a live connection.
  • A write tool says a permission is missing: Claude will ask you to re-authorize with the extra permission. Only owners and admins can grant write permissions.
  • No campaigns appear: performance data comes from the AdStellar sync. Open Ads Manager in AdStellar once to trigger a sync for a newly connected ad account.
